As part of the rebranding and conceptual refresh of the former P&G tower—now Caracas Campus—the reception area was redesigned into a lobby that dialogues with an art gallery. This transformation turns a mere transit zone into a meeting point, a fluid space that reinforces cultural activity through diverse exhibitions.
At the center of the space, a helical staircase stands out. Crafted from steel plates that unfold in harmony with its structure, it serves as a sculptural centerpiece. With clear references to Richard Serra, the piece can be appreciated from all angles and traversed internally to connect with the upper floor.

Richard Serra
He was an American minimalist sculptor renowned for his work with large-scale Corten steel pieces. “The viewer becomes aware of themselves and their movement through the plaza. As they move, the sculpture changes. The contraction and expansion of the sculpture are a result of the viewer’s movement. Gradually, the perception not only of the sculpture but of the entire environment changes.”
